    The original reason to visit this country is simple - to Nepal we need to transfer the flight in Bangkok, so we spent a week in this country before we went home.  Thai is famous for its tropical scenery (good beach, water sports/activities... ) as well as some traditional culture (Thai dance, Thai Boxing, Thai massage, and maybe the strong connection to Buddhism).  Unfortunately after three-week's travel in  Nepal we were too exhausted to truly explore this country.  Bangkok in many ways is very like Taipei, in a similar developing path.
